Operation Director, Grand Bassa, Liberia
Mr. Zenas Gelekine Flomo is a native born Liberian whose Father hail from Bong County and, Mother from Sinoe County. I was born in Bong Mine on July 29. I am engaged to be married in to Miss. Rose G. Sekou.

I attended Zaweata elementary and, junior high School until June 06, 1990, when rebel took us from class. In an urge for education and, the financial constrain caused by the war, I was unable to continue my academic sojourn for five years. In 1995/1996 I later enrolled into the Liberian Opportunity Industrialization Center earning a diploma in Building Trade / agriculture. Not satisfy with my achievement and, with help from my adopted family (Augustus Haynes)I restarted my academic at the Camphor Mission School , where I spent a semester and, later transferred to Monrovia . In 1997, I was enrolled in J.J.Ross high school on Ashmun Street in Monrovia. Due to high academic performance, I was granted Local scholarship by the Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Education in 1998 until graduation. I graduated from high school at J.J.Ross with academic award in 2000. In 2001, I was awarded another scholarship through the Liberia/ Morocco bilateral scholarship program to study health. After a year of intense reading of French language at the Mohammed V University, Faculty of science and education in Rabat, Morocco, I obtained a certificate in French Language in 2002. In the same 2002, I enrolled at the “Institut de formation aux carrieres de santé” (Presently University of Health sciences) in Rabat reading Nursing. I graduated with a Bachelor of science degree in Nursing in 2005.

Upon graduation as a Nurse, I returned to Liberia to contribute my quota to the reconstruction and development of our post-war country Liberia. I was assigned by the Ministry of Health at the Liberian Government Hospital in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County (LGH) on December 2005 until 2008. During the period of 2005 to 2008 at LGH, I worked as a screener, emergency response Nurse; scrub Nurse and, supervisor of the Operation Theater Department. At the same time, while working at LGH, I served as instructor and, Dean of Student at the Tarplah Institute of Nursing (presently closed) in Buchanan.October 2008, I was admitted in the Graduate Program of the Institut de formation (IFCSR) in Rabat, Morocco. I obtained a Master of Science degree in Health Management in 2011. With God above and, with help from my beloved Mom ( Cecelia S. Tarpeh) who gave me their financial and moral supports, I was able to complete this academic journey successfully.

In 2011, I wrote a thesis,” The factors that hinder the realization of the National HIV/AIDS control Program of Morocco”.
Upon graduation in July 2011, I returned to Liberia on August 4, 2011 and resumed work at LGH as scrub nurse while awaiting Placement that will commensurate with my qualification. On February 6, 2012 I was appointed Director of the Health Sciences department of The Grand Bassa Community College. This post I currently occupy.
My favorite quote: With God above, all things are possible.

I love reading, listening to people talk, music, traveling, exploring new things and, ideas.
